Tipu in Schools brings our award winning app Tipu to Te Reo Māori learning in schools. The gamification of learning ensures that it is always a favourite for tamariki.
Teachers and parents can login to the Tipu in Schools portal to access detailed information about the progress of their tamariki as they use Tipu as part of their Te Reo Māori journey.
Check out Tipu in Schools for more information.
Tipu makes learning Te Reo Māori fun and easy.
Tipu starts with the basics for beginners and its innovative approach personalises words and phrases for each user, so that you don't spend time on material that you already know.
So whenever you are using Tipu, even if it's just a few minutes here and there, it is targeted specifically to you for effective learning and accelerated progress.

Jeremy founded Plink Software in 2015 with a vision for utilising technology to improve the lives of Māori through connection to identity.
Jeremy has been involved in Software for 20 years, from hands on development to managing, running and growing software companies. He still spends plenty of time coding.
Tēnā rā koutou katoa.
Liss has been involved with Plink Software since inception and is responsible for how our beautiful software looks and feels.
As well as taking care of all of things design for Plink, Liss is an experienced photographer and takes care of all of Plink's clients photography needs.
Josh is our developer and takes care of all the technical stuff with Jeremy.
Formerly working in the media and consulting industries, he has been working professionally as a software developer since 2013.
Josh is from Balclutha, but has lived in Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland before coming to sunny Nelson.
Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Koroki Kahukura, Ngāti Pākehā
Tēnā koutou e te iwi. Ko Melissa Waldren tōku ingoa. Ko Ngāti Porou me Ngāti Koroki Kahukura me Ngāti Pākehā ōku iwi.
For the past 20 years I have predominately held management roles within the retail and hospitality industries.
I started as Accounts Manager at Plink Software for Tipu in Schools in October 2019.
In 2020, Plink Software was nominated as a finalist for the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards, in the Hi-Tech Kamupene Māori o te Tau – Māori Company of the Year category.
In 2017, Plink Software was nominated as a finalist for the New Zealand Innovation Awards, in the Innovation in Māori Development and Excellence in Social Innovation categories.
Tipu gamifies and personalises the Te Reo Māori learning experience, customising words and phrases to each user, which expedites language acquisition.
We were delighted when our innovative approach was recognised as Highly Commended in the Innovation in Māori Development category.
Over the 2019-20 summer Plink hosted Laurie Lloyd-Jones as part of the Nelson Tasman Intern Programme.
